On what sort of stomas can Curvex^® be used?

Below is an assortment of stomas that have been effectively treated with Welland’s Curvex^® pouch. These pictures include stomas that have moats, scar tissue, dips, creases and a hernia.

All of the stomas below have been treated with traditional convexity products and have consequently developed pressure sores and bruising. These were all successfully treated using Curvex^®.

Trial Results Overview

Trial results showed that;
	Prior to the trial, 86% of triallists experienced leakage with a normal flat or convex appliance (regardless of the type or brand of pouch)
With Curvex^®
	76% who had previously experienced leakage had substantially less or no leakage at all while using a Curvex^® pouch. This is an excellent result and demonstrates one of the major advantages associated with using a Curvex^® pouch
