Cutting Guide

Welland’s established Hyperflex^® Hydrocolloid, known for its kind and gentle properties (suitable for use on even sore or excoriated skin) can be cut to size. Visibility of the cutting guidelines has been improved and therefore this ensures a snug fit around the stoma, which in turn improves skin condition.

The skin friendly nature of the hydrocolloid does not however compromise on adhesion and security is provided where it is needed most with extra hydrocolloid at the 4 and 8 o’ clock positions.

New Improved Filter

Welland has improved their already effective Dual-Carb^® Filter by using a different process to manufacture it. Reduced ballooning is achieved through utilising the latest in laser technology, a reassuringly accurate process which ensures a clear, clean cut of the filter every time one is made, allowing gas to disperse at a natural rate, whilst effectively managing all types of odour.

Advanced Filter Protection System

The Advanced Filter Protection System coupled with the now laser cut Dual-Carb^® Filter not only reduces ballooning, but leakage from the filter as well. Combined with the ergonomic shape of the pouch the Advanced Filter Protection System works to encourage contents to migrate down to the bottom of the pouch and therefore stops the filter from becoming blocked.

The New Soft Comfort Layer, a visually appealing pouch covering, offers exceptional comfort against the body, even during extended wear. The material is quick drying which helps prevent perspiration build up whilst making it an ideal choice when swimming or bathing.

Original Integral Outlet

Featuring a simple and easy to open and seal integral outlet, the drainable pouch within the range is suitable for those with dexterity problems. Emptying and cleaning is made quick and easy due to the Easy grip tab for opening and the ergonomic design of the outlet, which is seamless, offering confidence in the knowledge that there will be no lingering odours.

Once emptied and cleaned, it can be sealed using a velcro fastening system which offers a comfortable, secure and discreet fit, negating the need for uncomfortable, bulky clips.
