Curvex® Colostomy (Closed) Pouch
|
The colostomy (closed) pouch has been designed specifically to mould around any peristomal skin deformity.
The 3D flange decreases the need for costly pastes or washers but also reduces the need to use uncomfortable or tight girdles.

Research has shown that colostomies can be prone to parastomal hernias. The Curvex® mouldable flange has a feature whereby it allows the plateau, which is built into the flange, to invert so it conforms to the shape of the parastomal hernia as seen in the picture.
The bell shaped flange has been designed to ensure even distribution of faeces as it enters the pouch.
| | | | | The HyperFlex® flange provides a secure adhesion without skin discomfort on removal. It also has moisture permeability, which allows the skin to breathe and reduces the likelihood of skin irritation.
The Curvex® colostomy pouch also includes the Dual-Carb® filter that
gently adsorbs the two main sources of odour.
Curvex® colostomy is available in both clear and opaque.
