Use of Filter covers | Filter covers are useful if you would like to prevent gas escaping from the pouch. A little gas in the bag can help prevent “pancaking” of the stool at the top of the pouch, which sometimes causes leaks | | Filter covers can also be used for bathing, showering and swimming to prevent water entering the filter
| | To apply: remove a filter cover from the wax paper and apply over the vent of the filter on the front of the pouch
|
Storage | Always store your pouches in a dry place at room temperature (0-27ºC or 32-80ºF) | | After pouches have been removed from their box, care should be taken to store them safely. Items should not be put on top of them and they must not be stored on their sides. This is to prevent damage to the hydrocolloid wafer
