Welland Medical employs 85 staff of which over 81% are involved in manufacturing, research + development and engineering. At Welland Medical we recognize that our staff are our greatest asset.  Our on-going commitment to the high quality training and development of all personnel is demonstrated through our achievement of the Investor in People Award in April 2002.  Training and development needs are identified and assessed through regular staff performance reviews to ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills in order to achieve the high level of quality and customer service demonstrated throughout the company at all levels.  Self-development is also encouraged in order to promote a motivated workforce that freely and willingly contribute ideas for continuous improvement in all areas of the organization.
