Paediatric Pouch

• The pouch features body side soft backing which is soft and gentle against the skin for additional comfort
• The paediatric pouch has the benefit of Welland’s Dual-Carb® filter that not only eliminates odour, but also actively manages the excess wind that is produced by infants
• Welland’s unique hydrocolloid flange shape has been designed to be flexible and as it has no starter hole it is ideal for the management of babies with multiple stomas as a stoma hole can be cut anywhere within the cutting guide
• The paediatric pouch can be used either vertically or horizontally. The benefit to being used horizontally is that it can be put over the side of the cot so that the newborn baby does not have to take the weight of the pouch
• The paediatric pouch incorporates an outlet tap that is exceptionally secure, yet soft and pliable and is ideal for controlling flow of output
• The versatility of the pouch means the pouch can be drained at the tap, or the soft tap can be cut off if required for thicker output, and a tie or clip used in place of the tap
• Welland’s Hyperflex® hydrocolloid formula is soft and gentle against delicate skin and is excellent for the management of sore and excoriated skin
