Research & Development

Welland Medical’s Research and Development team are working continuously on new innovative ideas from concept through various trial stages to the manufacture of a new product.

Patent and Regulatory issues are reviewed by the R&D group and they work very closely with the Sales and Marketing Team, for feedback from nurses and ostomates who take part in product evaluations.

Product Evaluations

We conduct product evaluations to find a suitable solution to patient problems, or to simply understand if completely new products work for you the user. Whatever the case we need your opinions. None of our product evaluations are invasive and we do not ask you to change to our products if you are happy with your existing ones. The product evaluations vary, but usually take no longer than 2 weeks.

We evaluate the results and use them to improve our products or alleviate ostomates’ problems. In this way we are able to provide first class innovative stomacare products around the world.
