Welland Medical employs 116 staff who are mainly involved in Production/Operations, but also in Research and Development, Technical, Sales and Marketing, Administration and Human Resources. At Welland Medical we recognise that our staff are our greatest asset. Our on-going commitment to the high quality training and development of all personnel is demonstrated through our achievement of the Investor in People Silver Standard in October 2010.
Training and development needs are identified and assessed through regular staff performance reviews to ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills in order to achieve the high level of quality and customer service demonstrated throughout the company at all levels. Self-development and career progression is also encouraged in order to promote a motivated workforce that freely and willingly contribute ideas for continuous improvement in all areas of the organisation.
